Culottages

Resin bushing on wire rope is a technique whereby resin is applied to a bushing after making a pompom on a wire rope. The bushing is a metal part used to terminate the end of the wire rope, enabling it to be attached to another object or piece of equipment. Resin capping preserves 100% of the wire rope's strength, protects the termination from corrosion and external elements, and extends the lifetime of the termination. This operation is common in the marine and oil industries, as well as in other sectors where steel wire ropes are used in harsh environments.
